Equipment
· Ventilator
· a big ventilator runs regularely in my phasmid room - about 10 - 15 times a day,
each time for about 15 minutes
· this improves the air circulation, both within the room itself as well as in the cages
as phasmid rooms are usually a bit more humid, thus mould can grow too especially
on the outer walls in winter time (either visibly or not!). A ventilator will also reduce
this mould growth, which is good for you and your phasmids
· often it can be observed that phasmids will start to move and even feed as soon as
the ventilator turns on. Thus a ventilator can also stimulate a better growth of
phasmids
