Mountainous rain forest near Nuwara Eliya, Central Sri Lanka (ca. 1900 m), the natural habitat and type-locality of Parasipyloidea seiferti.

 

 

Etymology:

This new species is named in honour of Mr. Thorsten SEIFERT (Grünstadt, Germany) for his great effort during night collecting in Sri Lanka.
