Four new species of Lobolibethra described from Peru and Ecuador

Four new species of the genus Lobolibethra Hennemann & Conle, 2007 (Diapheromerinae: Diapheromerini: "Clonistria-group) have been described. Lobolibethra carbonelli n. sp. and L. pozuzoae n. sp. from eastern Peru are described from both sexes and the eggs, L. tricarinata n. sp. from south Ecuador is described from the female and male, and L. verruculosa n. sp. from eastern Peru is described from the male only. The previously unknown males of the Peruvian L. mainerii (Giglio-Tos, 1910) and L. mutica Hennemann & Conle, 2007 are described and illustrated. Dyme iconicoffi Caudell, 19181 is shown to represent the previously unknown male of L. mainerii and is hence synonymised (n. syn.). An updated key is presented to the eleven known species of Lobolibethra. Two of the newly described species have been successfully cultured in Europe.
